Magnuson Hotel Sandy Lodge Newquay

We thoroughly enjoyed being there. The breakfast was adequate: fruit, eggs, toast and bangers were outstanding! Our accommodation was set in a central location really close to beaches and the cliffs.

We liked this impeccably clean hotel with a warm reception. It was central and close to Newquay Beach.

Quirky and perfectly clean hotel, loved it. The breakfast had lots of options and fruit, toast, eggs, bacon and bangers were incredible.

We only stayed here for 6 nights, as we didn't have time, though everything was very good. Our room was cheap and spotless with a bath and the full English breakfast offered has plenty of dishes. The location was stunning, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Newquay Activity Centre Surf School. The staff was pleasant on the reception desk.

Clean and reasonably priced accom with perfect location close enough to beautiful beaches, Newquay and centre. The most important was the staff - informative and welcoming people.

Our stay here was real good, handy base for exploring Newquay. The hotel had a central location also next to a tesco express supermarket. The staff was genuinely helpful, rooms were functional and airy.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was not good.

Unbeatable location for visiting Newquay, it's not far from beach and shops.

The staff were very cool, the English breakfast was very tasty. Awesome view, a bigger balcony, quiet bed, too. Courteous hotel centrally located in the city. The pool was perfect for us too. Lovely garden outside.

This was a low cost property with a nice pool. It was a very relaxing stay, people were outstanding.

It was tidy & fairly large hotel, pleasant location and comfort. Spotlessly clean bathroom, soft bed, very comfy bedroom. Walking distance to supermarkets and shops across the street. Places like a newquay zoo were not very far from here too.

Overall a very enjoyable short stay, great value for the money. I loved very careful staff and very attractive interior. Glamorous room with surprising view of cathedral. Comprehensive breakfast, decent service. Centrally located hotel. Having a plunge swimming pool and the beach bar was a bonus.

Twin room included tea/coffee making equipment and multi-channel television. Fast food restaurant tai-sing takeaway was located 15 minutes walk away. Besides, it has free Wi Fi in public areas.

The breakfast was satisfactory, thoroughly enjoyed free parking. Central heating and television were good. Newquay City Centre district is worth looking into. The dining room had EXCELLENT meals.

We would definitely visit it again, great value. We had a double room with a little balcony. Staff turned out to be friendly. We stayed for 8 nights here, loved Newquay City Centre district.
